The 9th Annual Learn to Ski and Board Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of December 13-14, 2008. This is a great time to learn to ski or snowboard on a budget. Boreal installed California's only new chair lift this summer. Come ride the New Castle Peak Quad, accessing more terrain and offering improved service to Boreal's newly aligned Kidz X Park and mini halfpipe.
Boreal has also installed a fully automated snowmaking system with 25 new fan guns, for highly efficient top to bottom snowmaking. Our new system is entirely energy efficient.
The Boreal Inn has a newly remodeled lobby and brand new windows throughout which are energy efficient.
Every lighting fixture at Boreal has been replaced with energy efficient lighting.
Boreal's Kids Club facility has also been renovated to add additional indoor space and an improved check-in process now accessed through the rental shop where it is warm and toasty.
